Inclusive visual identity systems
In today’s society, there is a growing awareness of the need to create spaces that are accessible to everyone, taking care of the comfort of people with special needs. Inclusive solutions not only support people with disabilities, but also promote equality and comfort for all users.
With the help of funding from the European Union, we have introduced a custom design and technology line for the production of signage and branding elements for commercial spaces, which helps realize these goals.
If you want your commercial space or public building wayfinding to be implemented with all users in mind, especially people with disabilities, check out our wayfinding offering, improved as a result of the EU project.
Thanks to the implementation of the project subsidized by the European Union, under Action 3.3 – “Innovation in SMEs” Regional Operational Program of the Mazovian Voivodeship for 2014-2020, our company was able to purchase modern machinery and specialized software allowing us to implement a new technological line.
The main objective of the project was to develop the company and increase its competitiveness based on the optimization of the production process and the introduction of innovative technological solutions.
The main change in the production process involves replacing the commonly used technology of tyflographic marking of elements, with a proprietary method of printing convex information/ pictograms/Braille alphabet directly on plastics.
The new process makes it possible to produce wayfinding implementations that are consistent with the concept of universal design and accessible to all users. Printing in the new technology can be performed on various surfaces, without restrictions, while maintaining the quality and aesthetics that are important for this type of realization.
An additional advantage of the technology is also the ability to print single pieces without the need for expensive molds. The process itself is also oriented towards reducing negative environmental effects through the use of machinery that allows working with more environmentally friendly materials, including a laser plotter for cutting, engraving and marking of elements, an ultrasonic washer or a laboratory dryer.
The added value of the implemented innovation is that the entire manufacturing process of the new service is carried out with eco-friendly inks and without the use of synthetic glue, and thanks to the use of, for example, a baling press or a plastic mill, the amount of waste generated is reduced to the maximum.
